Gene
Fessenbecker, author and President of the Construction Contracting Academy, has
done remodeling, custom home building, restoration and repairs as a general
contractor, and worked as manager and operator of four different construction
businesses over a period of 20 years. Gene wrote thirteen accredited self-study
courses for the Oregon Contractors Prerequisite Education Program which have
been offered through the Construction Contracting Academy since 1992. Currently,
in addition to writing about the business of construction contracting, he is a
dispute settler for home owner and home inspection warranty programs. Gene lives
in Eugene, OR in a house he remodeled twice in the last 16 years.
